Hi. I am 12 weeks pregnant with my DP, I have one DS with previous partner who is completely healthy. My DP however has lost two babies to a condition called hydrops, with his previous partner at the time he was on 18 and over the last ten years he has blocked out any and all detail of what led to the condition and whether or not it was a genetic thing or solely to do with his then partner being RH negative. I have researched some but not finding anything on how much the father has to do with the rare condition. After speaking with my midwife I was still not at ease though she has referred us to a consultant. The ultrasound was clear at 10 weeks, but I am still worried that my baby could have this condition. Talking to my DP is like talking to a brick wall as it leads to frustration and raw emotion. Help....
