ondansetron, anyone taking for morning sickness

Just that really, this is the third med my doc has prescribed but never heard of it. Any advice ladies? Xx

I was on it up until recently and it massively reduced the amount of times I was sick which was fab! BUT it gave me horrendous headaches and constipation so be wary of that, I ended up taking it alongside lactulose which my doc prescribed x

My husband is a GP and before knowing I was pregnant, gave me some to help deal with travel sickness. Upon finding out I was pregnant he said it wasn't ideal that I took it as it is quite a strong drug, usually used to control nausea for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. However, that being said I'm 34 weeks and everything seems to be normal. I think it's a case of taking it if the benefits outweigh the risks...
