Severe itching

I've been into the MLU today for a blood pressure check. I mentioned when I was there about severe itching to my back. The mw wasn't fussed and I was told even if it is OC then there's not much they can do as I'm past term now so baby is likely to come before they process bloods etc. This evening the itching has started on my hands. should I phone in?

No advice and sorry to gatecrashed but is itching on the back linked to OC? I knew if I got itchy hands or feet that was possible but the last two days I've had a really itchy back (and bump) which I put down to being allergic to something but reading this I'm now wondering. Hope you get an answer to your original question (I'll be looking out for it now too) x

Thanks I phoned in and need to have a blood test tomorrow. The itching in the back is not symptomatic of OC no but in conjunction with hands it could be....although I don't actually know what they could do if it is? hmm oh well!

Glad you called. I hope the blood test shows nothing to worry about or if it does there is something they can do even though you are close to your due date
