So I'm just a few days over 6 weeks and driving myself mental... I have barely any symptoms.. and.. well... its doing my head in.

I know its normal for some and I know it can also mean things MAY be wrong.

I just want to rant.

It may be the calm before the storm Enjoy! Wink

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 01/02/2015 18:32

It's still very early! In 2 weeks when you're head is over the toilet you'll be cursing this thread.

Novia · 01/02/2015 18:36

I'm 7 weeks and still no symptoms (except a BFP) and feeling knackered. I had no symptoms with my first pregnancy either, maybe you're one of the lucky ones! Grin

ljjeffro · 01/02/2015 18:38

I'm the same. I'm 9 and half weeks and have nothing! I even did another pregnancy test on Wednesday to make sure I definitely am! People are just telling me to enjoy it.

Thurlow · 01/02/2015 18:38

Calm before the storm Grin I actually started a thread at 6w pregnant that was pretty much word for word what you've said. I thought I was 9/10w pregnant and was worryingly symptom free. I wasn't - I was only 5/6w. I started throwing up a few days later and it turned into HG...

Not to bring out a horror story, sorry! But enjoy it, for most women its about now that the symptoms will kick in and you'll start being knackered.

WhatWouldFlopDo · 01/02/2015 18:40

Me too, 6 weeks exactly and nothing except sore boobs, which could just be the progesterone pessaries I'm on.

Currentlyclueless · 01/02/2015 18:41

9 weeks no symptoms and 7 positive tests it's fairly common to have no symptoms all though it doesn't feel that way I feel like everyone has mot inning sickness an I'm beggin for it

Currentlyclueless · 01/02/2015 18:41

Morning

Skeppers · 01/02/2015 18:41

You may never get any first trimester symptoms. I'm coming up to 13 wks and feel fit as a fiddle. Apart from achey boobs I've had no other symptoms for the whole first trimester. Thinking of actually bunking a few days off work; a colleague of mine had two weeks off for morning sickness and various pregnancy related things in the first few months...that's hardly fair as far as I'm concerned! I think I'm owed.

GoooRooo · 01/02/2015 18:43

6 weeks exactly, no symptoms. [fed up emoticon]

MrsFbabyNo1 · 01/02/2015 19:22

16 and half weeks and been perfectly well the whole time. Like you I often worried what does it mean (still do). But mostly I think myself v bloody lucky!!!!

I still don't feel preggo, but my tummy is definitely getting bigger and there's def a lovely looking baby in there so that's the most important thing!

Hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy. Enjoy the symptom freeness for as long as it lasts, I will!! X

coastergirl · 01/02/2015 19:41

I only had sore boobs in the first trimester. Now 33 weeks and have had no nausea at all. Enjoy it! It isn't necessarily a bad sign, my pregnancy has been perfectly healthy.

Gemzybelle · 01/02/2015 19:49

It may be that it just hasn't started yet. But with this pregnancy I had virtually no symptoms at all and was worried sick on the day of my twelve week scan.

I'm now in third trimester and feeling VERY pregnant (hollow laugh)

I'm sure everything is fine Smile

daluze · 01/02/2015 20:24

Enjoy! I had no symptoms with my first, it was a bliss! So now constantly sick with my second one, I really appreciate how lucky I was! It is normal if you don't get much symptoms, the bad thing is if you have strong sickness and it suddenly goes away (in first trimester, later it usually resolves - or so I hope...). Congratulations on your pregnancy!

MuddyWellyNelly · 01/02/2015 21:01

I'm now 14+5. Like skeppers, been perfectly well so far. But if I heard "MS is a great sign of a healthy pregnancy" once, I heard/read it a million times. Which is very reassuring when you're feeling better than you've ever felt. Hmm. But now - I feel very very lucky.

I do however have subtle signs. My proprioception is a bit off, I keep whacking my hand off cupboard doors for instance. My boobs are bigger now but it took a while. I'd get out of breath easily even early on. I have never felt pregnant though, and if I didn't know I wouldn't have known, iykwim.

In most cases, everything progresses just fine, so try to relax and enjoy feeling fine :).

Marmot75 · 01/02/2015 21:06

Oh my! I was literally just saying this to my husband. I will be 11 weeks on Tuesday and it's an IVF pregnancy so I've already had scans at 7 weeks and 9 weeks and all was well. But I just don't FEEL pregnant. I am tired in the evenings (but if I didn't know I was pregnant I'd put it down to winter nesting) and my boobs have grown. But no sickness and if I didn't know I was pregnant I don't think I'd suspect it.

I don't WANT to feel sick but as mentioned above when people ARE sick everyone consoles them by saying 'it's a great sign that all is well with the pregancy' which is not very reassuring for those who feel fine.

I have a son and I didn't really feel sick with him either (I remember retching once when I was brushing my teeth) so I hope it's normal for me. 12 week scan in a couple of weeks ...

gingerbreadmam · 01/02/2015 21:09

from another point of views i had symptoms and bad news so please dont worry too much at all. i think the saying is if u have no cramps and blood you are doing just fine. its early days im sure theyll come.

congrats and all the best Thanks

NurseP · 01/02/2015 21:10

Not many symptoms to report here either, 15 weeks and only the occasional itchy boob and a slightly bigger belly. I'd wife says its normal to have no symptoms , everybody's different! X

sleepybee · 01/02/2015 21:37

Trust me do not wish for sickness! As an HG sufferer now almost 28 weeks & still have horrendous nausea & sickness it's a nightmare. I don't know how ladies do this more than once. And unless they have been through it no one, NO One understands Confused. It's been really tough for my husband too as he's had to pick up all the house chores etc & he feels really helpless.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 01/02/2015 21:40

My sickness didn't start til around 8 weeks but now still going strong at 18 weeks!

pinkie1982 · 01/02/2015 21:45

Don't worry. I bloated early on but didn't get any sickness feeling until about 8 weeks, it only lasted for six weeks. Now it's gone I worry but bloating has gone and I've got a definite bump. Waiting for my 20w scan is excruciating.

sianihedgehog · 01/02/2015 22:39

12.5 weeks here and all I have is tiredness, slightly bigger boobs, and shortness of breath. I genuinely just feel a bit fat and out of shape.

ImpatiencePersonified · 02/02/2015 08:02

You ladies rock, thank you so much

Oooh, is shortness of breath a symptom? Well, that's two I have now then! Hooray! thumbs up

My usual 20 min walk to/from work (after a 30-40 min drive) makes me feel like I've run a marathon these days; walking up the steps over the footbridge almost finishes me off. I will notify work about the pregnancy as soon as I've had my scan this Thursday (all being well of course, fingers crossed) cos I'm on a promise of a temporary disabled parking permit about 10 metres from my office door!
