I'm 31 weeks now and have totally had enough. Uncomfortable and seem to have nearly every symptom possible.

However my poor undercarriage !
Not only do I have bad piles which if I didn't know better, I'd have though my digestive system was spilling out my backside but now I have swollen last bits that are stinging.
I've tried to look ( tmi I know sorry) and I can't see anything abnormal, just that it appears v swollen and is a bit tender.

Please tell me this is normal and it's not going to get more uncomfortable?? The thought of another 9 uncomfortable weeks is really making me miserable without more things to have to suffer!

I'm 31 weeks & feeling the same. I've also had these 'undercarriage' issues for about a month. I'm finding watching TV lying down & getting a good nights sleep are helping a lot.

Oddly I think baby moved his position significantly the other day & it's helped matters, but only time will tell.

I've got a referral for a support belt in the system too. The physio that runs my local aquanatal class suggested it as it should raise baby up a bit & enable the blood to flow back up where it should be.

Aquanatal or swimming are good for you too as the water supports baby & reduces the pressure on you too. It's just finding the time to fit it in!

Lots of sympathy from me. I'm 31 weeks and have developed a raging rash where my boobs now rest on my bump. It's driving me potty and making me feel super attractive.

28 weeks and am the same ... baby girl adopted head down position this week and I've been more active trying to get lots done ... my poor lady garden is as you describe! I've just put some canestan cream on and it feels less irritated and swollen :)

Mine looked like a purple kebab Sad so much for pregnancy sex!

I had this - it was horrible. V uncomfortable, but mine didn't come to anything (although a thrombosed pile was HIDEOUSLY painful). Lie down as much as possible and IME it feels a lot worse than it actually is.

Jodie1982 · 30/01/2015 22:55

Could it be Thrush? As that's what it sounds like. Some nice cool Canesten Cream should relieve the irritation.

I they cost a bit but these are amazing and even better post birth!

Sounds normal. It's a combination of baby pressure and extra blood. Mine looked better after birth despite having an episiotomy.
