What are you eating - third trimester

Tahrs it really, interested in hearing on an average day what you are eating? I keep worrying I am consuming too much!!

Yesterday I ate:

Porridge
Slice of toast
Fruit and veg nutribullet smoothie
An Eccles cake
Pasta with cheese/bacon
Chicken pie and mash with veg
An orange
A bowl of cereal in the eve

None were large portions as I can't eat huge amounts so much now, this is also quite an unhealthy day for me as normally there would be less cheese and pastry but gives an idea on quantity!!

Anyone care to share an average day? I am 34 weeks and moderately active I would say!

I'm 33 weeks. On an average day I eat:

Bowl of cornflakes
Scrambled egg roll
Cheese sandwich
Home made veggie soup
Two apples
Enchiladas (2 pancakes; one chick breast LOTS of cheese)
Two creme eggs (these I eat at 8pm and there is no need for them at all just figured if not now, then when!)

On this I can get hungry around 5pm and will be known to have cereal bar. Trying to not over eat but eating more choc than I ever would not pregnant. Have gained 1st 6lbs and am now gaining 1lb per week give or take so figure it's ok.

What am I eating?

I'm 39 weeks and I've just stopped caring. I've eaten chips three times this week and in one 24 hour period I ate two bowls of ice cream topped with a chocolate flake. Baby has been measuring small so I'm just doing what I can to help Smile
It was pretty much the same in my last pregnancy and I figure that if you've eaten reasonably well throughout your other trimesters and you haven't put on an excessive amount of wright, you should just eat whatever you fancy in the last weeks.

Today I had 2x toast with cream cheese and tomatoes, a bag of crisps and a bowl of mushroom soup with a bread roll. Tonight I'm planning on making macaroni cheese with butternut squash and Cornish greens. There may be a chocolate bar coming in about an hour or so...

This is more like a typical day for me however yesterday I had a large portion of chips for lunch and on Monday I had an Indian takeaway (with the leftovers serving as a starter before dinner on Tuesday). I'm basically just allowing myself to eat what I like, when I want. It seems to be balancing out ok - I've gained just over a stone at 33weeks.

Interesting! Sounds like my mindset of just eating when I want to is a popular one! I have really found I actually crave cheese more pregnant and that I want to eat chocolate and cake more too (that's normal I just usually don't allow myself!)
