hello everybody

happy friday!

i'm 5 weeks + 5 days with number 1, and i have become absolutely obsessed with dr google as a result. for the first 2 weeks DPO i felt bloated, had mild AF cramps and sore boobs, but as of yesterday, pretty much nothing except still slightly sore boobs. now i am panicking about losing symptoms and what it might mean. i will go for an early scan, but even that's going to be a couple of weeks away. 

has anyone else noticed symptoms disappearing? i'm driving the OH nuts! i'm 37 and overweight, so worried about these risk factors too.

thank you!

In my experience symptoms tend to come and go. When I was pregnant with DS I would bloat and shrink again numerous times a day. ditto with my breasts, one minute they was tender, the next they was fine. Also many women don't feel the full brunt of symptoms until 6w+ anyway.

Stay away from DR G it will drive insane! I've been there done that and got the panic attacks t-shirt.

No bleeding? No problem. Enjoy your time feeling 'normal' before you know it you will probably be praying to the porcelain god and wishing you could poo normally!

Congratulations and best wishes.

I know what you mean. I'm 5+6, and feeling very nervous even though it's my fourth. I keep thinking and telling DH all the time that I've got no symptoms but actually if I think about it, I have. Some symptoms are as simple as a heightened sense of smell or an odd taste in your mout, just because your boobs aren't constantly sore or your not hugging the toilet every day doesn't mean that anything is wrong.

As Sarky said, lots of women don't really notice symptoms until after 6 weeks.

You may be lucky enough never to get any Smile

Sorry that should say fifth not fourth Hmm it would appear I have baby brain too as I seem to have forgotten how many children I have!

Symptoms don't particularly mean anything you can have a healthy pregnancy with little to no symptoms and loss of symptoms.

Try not to worry

thanks ladies, that's really helpful. i had a bit of mild cramping again today and now am immediately panicking that means something bad too. basically there is absolutely no pleasing my mental brain!

I'm 6 weeks pregnant apparently but had no symptoms .i think I'm a little more tired and maybe eating more but then that's normal ( trying to bulk out! ) with my dd I didn't have hardly any symptoms except feeling slightly nauseous.
Am also panicking something's wrong . Had been poas for days after just to check! Now stopped and just taking each day as it comes. I have a long tube until my booking appt ;1 month) and then no idea when scan would be. Seems longer as I'm a SAHM so too much time to google!

*wait

Not tube!

I didn't get any symptoms until about 8 weeks. Remind yourself that only people that are trying would know at this point. I found out at 5 weeks too. Just relax until then and get sleep if you were as sick as me you will need it :) DO NOT WORRY

I'm 4+1, and have barely any symptoms, just sore boobs & Tummy ache + slightly more frequent trips to the loo I don't even feel pregnant, but I'm waiting til 6 weeks as I know from previous experience thats when it hits x

I didn't have many symptoms until about 7 weeks and by god have they hit me hard. Ive been off sick for 9 weeks with hyperemesis. You may be one of the lucky ones who dont get symptoms. You think u want them to reassure u? Trust ne u dont. Xx
