Since having a severe pain in my side I haven't felt my baby move as much as normal. I was told that you aren't suppose to feel these things everyday but I usually did. Is a miscarriage still possible ? I hD a scan 2 days ago n all was normal and mw appoitment 1 day ago n heartbeat was there. any advice?

It is entirely possible that the baby has turned and you're not feeling movements as much.

But reduced movements always, always need to be checked. Call your MW.

The heads in a different position now but I felt some movements this morning but not what I'm used too. Is it a cause for concern

Any reduced movement you should call your midwife or hospital just to be checked. They wont mind & will advise you what to do.

Have you tried a cold/hot drink, laying on your side, eating chocolate/something sweet etc?

I've tried the usual methods n got only the slightest bit of movement, I don't want to go to hospital And realise that it's just nothing. I am a really big worrier so anything that I don't think is normal immediately I think the worst but I suppose whenever you get to 30 weeks does the baby not move not as much because it usually sleeping with time?

You should call them and tell them what you just wrote. Chances are the baby is fine and as others have said the baby might have moved and it isn't that she is moving less its just that you feel it less but still over 30 weeks you should feel her regularly. Call them x x

I had the same at 30 weeks. always best to get checked out. i went to the hospital and they wired me up to heart montior and monitored my uterous. all was fine. baby had just moved positions, so the kicks were going inwards rather than outwards. i apologised for wasting their time, and they were really nice about it all, and saidyou should always go in to get it checked

gabrielle1201 · 30/01/2015 10:52

I'm going to ring up Nd see what they tell me thanks!

I would much prefer going to hospital and being told everything is fine, to the opposite. All reduced movement needs to be checked out - no excuses.

blackwidow74 · 30/01/2015 16:26

Don't sit and stress about wasting their time ... They prefer you to go in be checked and reassure you than have to admit you with high anxiety and rocketing BP cos you sat back and worried yourself silly!!

How did you get on OP?
