So it gets to the evening, and you can't remember whether you have taken your pg vitamins that day. Do you

a) take vitamins and risk taking double

b) not take vitamins and risk taking none?

B. absolutely B for me. I used to forget sometimes too, so what I am doing now to be sure is I take 1 pill out of the pack in the morning and leave it on the coffee table (or somewhere I will not oversee it) to take during lunch.

I don't think it matters. Double vitamins for one day won't harm you or baby but nor would missing them. It is not the same as taking life-saving medication.
If I was eating anyway I'd probably take them but not otherwise. Don't want to take on an empty stomach.

Put your vits where you eat breakfast and then you should remember them first thing.

Depends how many weeks you are. I'd you're over 12 weeks I'd leave it if unsure. If under 12 weeks I would take it so you're sure you have your Rda of folic acid.

I'm 8 weeks, it's the folic acid which I'm really conscious of.

If you forget if you have taken a multi - vitamin could you just take some folic acid as that doesn't matter if you take more. I would worry with the multi vitamins that you could take too much of certain vitamins.

(You would obviously need to have some folic acid on its own but I used to take it when I felt too sick to take pregnacare.)

Past 12 weeks I just take the vitamins when I can remember and don't worry about missing days when I am eating healthily.

Past my 12 week scan (at nearly 14 weeks) I didn't take anything, and surprisingly stopped being sick as much!

I just try and eat a balanced diet now.
