Have had an awful taste in my moth pretty much since I found out I was pregnant (now 10-ish weeks) I try to drink loads of water, or squash but nothing actually quenches the thirst or takes this awful taste away.

Share with me please what you are drinking...

Lucozade or cranberry juice+tonic. I'm also drinking gallons of milk and pints of water. (might explain the elephant-feet-fluid-retention) The taste in your mouth does go away eventually I'm 37+4 with twins.

Irn Bru helps.

My friend had the same thing and she took to oasis summer fruits and the Orange one..... There was bottles of it everywhere, she was on oasis up to about 24 weeks then went onto milk

Fizzy water with a slice of apple, lemon or lime. I loved this when I was first pg and always have 4-5 glasses of it a day even now. Also, another vote for lime cordial, and pixley berries blackcurrant is lovely as well.

I can't get enough of sugar free cloudy lemonade. Grin

Not a drink but I've been sucking gin gins (h&b ginger sweets) and they helped, apart from that just water as hate anything sweet or fizzy.

I found eating melon quote satisfying

Racheyg · 27/01/2015 20:35

Sparkling water straight from the fridge or lucozade

Babybug1 · 21/06/2019 19:49

The only thing I can drink to quench my thirst is milk. 😊 water and juice don’t touch the sides and since I turned 14 weeks I’ve been so much more thirsty

Hairwizard · 21/06/2019 22:23

Soda water and lime cordial with loads of ice
Sparkly water with lime cordial and loads of ice
Orange fanta zero with loads of ice
Apple or pear juice with loads of ice
Currently using mi wadi no sugar orange squash(the one with stevia not the artificial crap) and loads of ice
Plain water isnt doing it for me at all this time around.

Mamabear12 · 21/06/2019 22:26

Ice lemon water

Pomfluff · 21/06/2019 23:16

Full-sugar Coke, fresh orange juice and coconut milk with Ovalmaltine got me through the first 2 trimesters! And not surprisingly, I got gestational diabetes in the final trimester so had to cold-turkey down to only Evian 😂.

This is the worst pregnancy symtom for me.

I drink Orange juice which tends to keep the nasty taste away and then I add favouring to my water, so I will make it lemon flavoured.
