Dh and I dtd tonight after which the loo roll was pink tinged. I called triage who said it was prob just 'bodily fluids' to put on white knickers and to keep an eye on it. Since then I've had pretty much constant cramp low down (nothing excruciating) and plenty movement (normal). I popped to the loo and had a little brown discharge on my knickers and some in the loo roll. Not loads.

Should I be worried?

Thanks!

Smell it. If it smells sweet, it's your waters; if not, it's wee!

Is baby moving okay?

blackwidow74 · 25/01/2015 20:10

It could be a bit of mucus plug ... best way to see if it's your waters is to lay down for half hour then get up and see if there's more!

Baby moving great. He moved quite a lot last night (maybe a tad more than usual) and is the same again tonight.

Have been laying down most of the night Blush and not much more come out. Will go and have a smell.

Thanks

No smell at all. Not urine or sweet really Confused

If it is mucus plug, is that ok or something I should worry about?

Mucus plug can come away at any time but can regenerate tho it can be sign of labour, keep an eye on it and try not to worry xx

My OB's guidelines said light spotting after sex in late pg not cause for concern. I'd just keep an eye as others have said.

blackwidow74 · 25/01/2015 22:46

Plug is no issue ... its common to lose bits here and there especially after disturbing the cervix or area around it (as you would with dtd) ... If baby is happy and there's nothing more than a smearing I'd say you are ok :)
