Sympathetic/anxious DH

Not really a moan but looking for anyone with similar stories.

I'm 36 weeks pregnant with a huge bump but generally managing fine (still working). However getting in and out of bed (and sometimes my chair) and picking things up off the floor is getting difficult and I tend to make various groaning/huffing sounds. DH appears at every sound anxiously asking if I'm okay!! I'm out to the toilet in the wee hours every night and again DH has to check if I'm okay -it happens every night!

I know he's just wanting to check on me but I'd prefer him to realise that the sound of me climbing in and out of bed and going to the loo are not signs of imminent labour!

Yep. DP did this a lot last pregnancy and even more this time because I have a really really sore left hip so I do quite often let out little yelps when least expected!! I've told him that unless I say scream his name I'm fine Grin

Same situation here ... I'm constantly being told off for doing things and this is our 6th! He's worse this time as we lost our son at 21 weeks in 2008 so he's wrapped me in cotton wool this time ... We haven't been intimate since we got pregnant 28 weeks ago!!!!!!!!! He's too scared and still racked with guilt as we had been intimate the night before our son passed from his cord and placenta failing ... hubby can't grasp that the issues were there all along but were not picked up or were brushed aside early on bless him .. so yep ... Every grunt and groan or hint of stress and he's on my case :)

Glad I'm not the only one. As I say I'm fairly alright so put some clothes in the washing machine this morning while DH was still in bed -leading to him feeling guilty that I was doing housework while he was lying about in bed! Has led to lots of housework being done by him today!

Aww bless them! It must be weird for them as we are living with the pregnancy every second of every day and they are like 'bystanders' in the nicest way possible.
Im 23 weeks and get bouts of spotting at least 2/3 times a month and if i tell him i have been spotting that day everytime i pee he asks how my pee went (indicating he wants to know if there was spotting) lol bless him
