I can see a line on the 2nd set of tests but the test looks flooded. I 2nd buying a first response you'll get an accurate clear result.

fattymcfatfat · 28/01/2015 15:52

There does seem to be a very faint line but the test does look flooded as cookielove has said. Do one first thing in the morning, I always used cheapy tests but always got a very strong result as all three times I have been about 6 weeks. Try again in the morning with a better test, try one that you pee onto instead of dipstick tests

Vickyjake14 · 28/01/2015 20:28

Thanks guys

Yes there is slight lines but they could be evap lines. Try a different test tomorrow xx

SolomanDaisy · 28/01/2015 20:36

So you're only five dpo? Well, it's far too early for the test to work, as you know. I think you have flooded the test. Doesn't mean you're not going to be pregnant, but if you are you won't be producing hcg yet.

sianihedgehog · 28/01/2015 20:37

I think I can see a faint line on the last one. Get a clearblue digital and try again - they give a clear answer!

Cakealicious · 28/01/2015 21:21

Way too early to test. The earliest I ever got was 9dpo and the line was very faint. Wait a few days and buy a first response instead of these cheapies.

Jodie1982 · 28/01/2015 22:18

I see a feint line, but in a few days a preggy test will be much more clearer if you are, your testing too early at the mo.
Good luck

WhereIsMyFurryHat · 28/01/2015 22:24

I can see a faint line. When is your period due?

WhereIsMyFurryHat · 28/01/2015 22:26

Just read that you are 5dpo. If that is correct then a positive test is impossible. Implantation cannot occur that quickly.

QuickQuickSloe · 28/01/2015 22:31

My line was that faint.

He's three now Grin

Vickyjake14 · 29/01/2015 00:34

OP I would suggest NOT testing in 3 days. I would wait until at least 11DPO. Ideally 14DPO. You will keep hurting yourself with these negatives otherwise. not to mention its a total waste of time and money

HCG will not be produced until implantation has occurred. This happens usually around 11-14 days (give or take a day or two) after conception which may not necessarily be the day you had sex. Once implantation is complete your body will start to produce the pregnancy hormone HCG. This doubles only every 48 hours or so it can take a few more days for HCG to rise enough to be detectable on a test.

I feel your pain. I am waiting to test too and time is dragging

knittingirl · 29/01/2015 14:14

I'm with sarky, it's hard, but sit on your hands and wait ideally until your period is due. You can't possibly get a correct result at this point.

I've got my fingers crossed for you, but please don't drive yourself up the wall with endless testing over the next week or two.

Vickyjake14 · 30/01/2015 11:47

I woke up this morning feeling sick but not actually sick and I got weard feelings in my lower belly bit and today is day 7 if I include the day I was ovulating which was the 23 ?????

fattymcfatfat · 30/01/2015 11:52

Wait a few more days. And I cant stress enough, when you do test make sure its your first wee of the day! Tests work better first thing!

knittingirl · 30/01/2015 11:53

Still too early to test! Find something fun to do today to distract yourself, and try not to think about it and analyse every twinge. You are hyper attuned to your body right now so will be noticing all sorts of things that you wouldn't normally.

fattymcfatfat · 30/01/2015 11:54

Preferably wait until you have a missed period!

Vickyjake14 · 30/01/2015 18:29

Ok thanks guys I did do a test today but was negative like u say too early to test

OP posts:
fattymcfatfat · 30/01/2015 18:32

You need to stop torturing yourself! Just chill out and wait woman! Your onky going to be disappointed with every negative until you can get an accurate result and there is no point in putting yourself through that. I understand that this is something you want desperately but you are putting yourself under enormous pressure.

sebsmummy1 · 30/01/2015 18:34

I got a positive test at 8dpo using Tesco standard tests. I was amazed. They are only about £3 for two, I would recommend. With those strip tests you must dip then into wee, don't wee on them or they will flood.

Good luck OP

coley170 · 30/01/2015 19:05

Looks like a positive in the second pictures, wait 2 days & test again for sure

Vickyjake14 · 30/01/2015 21:08

Thanks girls it's nice to have people to talk to who understand xx
