Yes, me. Had an ectopic previously and needed to check if this one was in the right place. And it was! Almost 13 weeks now. Good luck to you! :)

Did they see heart beat ??

Yep, I did to rule out ectopic. Turned out I was having twins! Good luck Flowers.

yes, a few (I've had 4 m/c at between 6 and 13 weeks). Its really important to remember that you might not be able to see much of anything at all and will be sent away to come back a week or ten days later. If you're off on your dates, if your uterus is tilted back, etc, it might not be possible to establish anything, positive or negative.

bettyboop1970 · 22/01/2015 17:10

Didn't see a heart beat at that scan.

Murphy29 · 22/01/2015 17:11

Yes, lots across 5 pregnancies (4 mmc).

It will be internal which is slightly uncomfortable at first but not sore. They will likely only be able to see a pregnancy sac at this stage but if you're lucky possibly a yolk sac/fetal pole. Hope everything goes well.

Swanny84 · 22/01/2015 17:12

Mine was an empty sack, nothing at all showed. 3 weeks later we had healthy heartbeat showing baby at 7+6. Hopefully you'll see something more reassuring than I did but just best be prepared (which I wasnt). Good luck

SueV14 · 22/01/2015 17:14

Yes, if I remember correctly it was visible on the monitor. But it is not guaranteed that it is visible so early on, so if it isn't, there is no reason to worry whatsoever.

SueV14 · 22/01/2015 17:18

Now thinking of it I'm not sure it was the 5 weeks scan when I saw the heartbeat for the first time. I think the first one was really just to see where it is and the doc said "here is the yolk sac, in your womb". I had another scan at just over 7 weeks because I was going for a trip and wanted to make sure everything is still ok. This is when I definitely saw the heartbeat.

FlyingSpud · 22/01/2015 20:00

I had a scan at 5+6. Didn't see a heartbeat, but did see a sac and fetal pole. Went back five days later and there was the heartbeat.

If you mentally prepare yourself to see nothing but a sac in the right place but perhaps no heartbeat yet, that's sensible. As another poster said, I wasn't prepared and it really fucked me up to be honest.

itssangriaoclock · 22/01/2015 20:13

I had a scan at 5+ yolk sac seen but too early to see fetal pole or heartbeat. Being scanned again at 8wks.

Christelle2207 · 22/01/2015 20:17

This time I had a scan at about 7 weeks and saw a HB but only just- sonographer said that a couple of days earlier we probably wouldn't have seen it. Good luck x

itssangriaoclock · 23/01/2015 12:13

Tia2005 how did your scan go?

Tia2005 · 23/01/2015 19:47

Hi all went well the sac was where it should be and saw a little ball in there not gotta have another scan now until 12 weeks
