Hi all
I'm 24 weeks pregnant. So far Iv had three scans and only 2 midwife appointments. I know that I won't have anymore scans now unless needed, but how often will I see the midwife from now on and what other appointments will I have coming up? Just curious to what I should expect Smile

28 weeks is the next important appointment when you should have some more bloods done to check iron levels etc. Then if all is normal it will probably be something like 32 weeks, 36 weeks and weekly thereafter til baby is born.

Are you in the UK? I have a schedule of appointment in my notes.

This is my 3rd pregnancy (you see the me fewer times after your first) and I think I see her at weeks 28, 32, 36, 38 and 40, unless I need to see her inbetween or I become higher risk. Just scans at 12 and 20 weeks too. I'm 18 weeks now.

For first time mothers, it's every 3 weeks from 25 weeks - 36 weeks, then 38, 40, 41, 42. According to my notes :)

Hello

Question

First time mother

When i went my 25w appt my hospital was not able to schedule me for another appt earlier than 31 weeks- as they are full. So im essentially missing the 28w appt.
They still send me at 28w for diabetes test and other blood tests.

Should I be concern and demanding they see me at 28w?
I feel the appts are already sporadic and brief as it is.

Hi, If you have the green NHS maternity note book, it should be in there on the Page 7 titled pregnancy planner, you should have with a first pregnancy:

Booking appointment
16 weeks
25 weeks
28 weeks
31 weeks
34 weeks
36 weeks
Health Visitor Antenatal Visit
38 weeks
40 weeks
then 41 and 42 if you go over
