Hey, some advice please ladies...
I went for my anomaly scan on Monday and all was well until I had the Internal scan at which point the sonographer looked completely shocked and went in to panic mode, asking if I'd had multiple miscarriages, terminations or surgery, which I haven't! This is my first pregnancy with my little boy. She went on to explain that generally a cervix should be closed by 40mm and that mine only had 11mm left meaning I was now a high risk pregnancy and that I should be prepared for miscarriage or premature birth Sad

I've googled intensely but I'm yet to find anyone with the same situation. The other ladies I've found are at earlier stages with a lot more cervix left and having the stitch or even further! I've been placed on 200mg of progesterone daily until next week when I'm to go back and discuss the cerclage. Has anyone else had the stitch so far down the line? I'm scared that the risks are now too great Sad
