My first pregnancy I'm 8 weeks and have no symptoms. I know people will say oh your so lucky etc and there's no correlation about symptoms and whether the pregnancy is healthy.

I just wish I had a little something so I feel pregnant. This pregnancy has happened against the odds and my doctors have said if I lose this I definitely won't be able to conceive again.

Did anyone or does anyone else have no symptoms?

I had nothing with my first. I grew a bump eventually but it didnt seem real until I was aactually giving birth and a baby was coming out of me! I never felt pregnant with him though. Even when I had a massive tum and he was wriggling around like a loon a shoving his feet in my ribs! It just never really sunk in. Good luck and congrats im sure everything will be fine x

Thank you for replying! :) I'm trying so hard to relax but I don't know how anyone does relax especially when they haven't had a scan yet! X

Perhaps you could try and have an early scan to reassure yourself?

Currentlyclueless · 21/01/2015 14:39

No one can fit me in till the week of my 12 week scan so it's not an option :(

Private scan?

flamingtoaster · 21/01/2015 14:57

I didn't know I was pregnant. I was almost eight weeks when, thank goodness, a nurse insisted I have a pregnancy test before going in to have my wisdom teeth out (my cycles had been a bit all over the place). I didn't have any morning sickness (though did feel a bit off around 4.00 in the afternoon if I hadn't had a big afternoon snack later in the pregnancy). I'm sure you are fine.

Mexicantortilla · 21/01/2015 15:04

Congratulations. I had no symptoms with either of my first 2, like fattymc said, didn't seem real until I had first one! Only thing I can remember from them both was insane tiredness around 16 to 20 weeks, which is actually quite late as tiredness is usually 1st trimester.

Good luck, look for a private scan if you can it really would help to ease your mind, however pregnancy worries always sneak back two minutes later! With my first I didn't know there was anything to worry about, I look back on that pregnancy and see it as perfect really, no symptoms, no worries but because I was ignorant.
Hope all goes well for you both Flowers

Can't have a private scan no one can fit me.

Thanks for your replies :) I feel a bit better now knowing you can have a healthy pregnancy with no symptoms. That should be spoke about more than just the usual 'morning sickness' even when doing about pregnancy in Uni they didn't mention people don't always have symptoms!

My auntie was six months before she found out. .she never had regular menstrual cycle so it just never entered her head that she could be. Baby was a healthy 7lb 6oz

sianihedgehog · 21/01/2015 20:36

I'm 10.5 weeks I've got nothing either. I had a week of feeling very slightly off as if I had been eating badly, and I'm a bit tired, but I'm ALWAYS tired like this at this time of year. It's actually making me insane as i've had a previous miscarriage. I'm SO PARANOID this time. I was actually just considering starting a "no symptoms" thread myself!

That said, I told my mum that I was really worried by it and she said that neither she, my grandmother, or my aunt had ever had any morning sickness or anything either, and they all had really healthy trouble free pregnancies. She said "being pregnant IS normal, of course you feel normal!"

And I have one friend who was 7 months along when she found out and another who only found out 2 weeks before giving birth!

I'm totally with you that it needs to be talked about more - I remember doubting that anyone could possibly not know they were pregnant, but I entirely understand now!!

Siani congratulationsFlowers

It's nice to know I'm not alone. I keep googling really traumatic things like an idiot which I need to stop doing and looking in my Uni books - not healthy!

Google is the worst place to go! You can have a slight headache and google will tell you that you have a brain tumour! I know the time between now and scan drags but you will have to be patient and then you will see your baby and feel reassured

Good luck with your scan on Saturday! I think it's so different for everyone, my mins shocked at my pregnancy symptoms. she said she didn't have any at all loved being pregnant and felt like she glowed and was the best she ever felt! I on the other hand am a sicky exhausted sweaty mess with tiredness nausea have had thrush and a uti and terrible joint and just had pain in general!

fattymcfatfat · 22/01/2015 13:22

Thats fantastic op. Good luck im sure everything is fine and at least you will finally be able to get some peace of mind.

sianihedgehog · 22/01/2015 17:16

I've just come back from a scan and getting bloods taken for the Harmony test and seen a very lively healthy baby, despite still having NO symptoms at all.
