Bleeding

Hi I'm 15 pregnant with my fist child on Friday night I went to the toliet and when I wiped there was blood it was as if I was on my period I rushed straight up and a and e as straight away you allways think the worse after few hours of waiting I finnaly got seen by a doctor who done a internal exam and she told me my cervix was closed and she was not worried about me and booked me in for a scan in Tuesday the bleeding has stopped now but it was followed by brown blood followed by just brown spotting. I havnt had any pains or anything I may sound really silly but I am just so worried and wondered if there was anyone else with the same as me

It would probably be best to have a chat with your midwife so that she can reassure you that everything is okay Flowers

I have a scan on Tuesday to check everything I just hope everything's is okay with baby

I had a bit of brown bleeding at 8 and 10 weeks but it was never red (I'm 39 weeks now) bleeding isn't always the end of the world. Sending you positive thoughts for your scan, hope all goes well xx

Hi kaykay121, I had similar bleeding 3 times, with the last time being around week 18. Was never given a reason but there was no concern. The pregnancy went well and baby arrived safely. Nothing really stops you worrying but you've done the right thing and fingers crossed your scan will offer further reassurance.

Hey, bleeding is scary but please be assured that brown blood means old. Do not worry unless anymore bright red or pink blood. Sometimes you have a bleed and then it takes a while for it to leak out, hence brown spotting.

Had scan today baby is fine they are not sure why I was bleeding possibly just old blood when my period was due.baby heartbeat is fine looking at us in our altasound such a weight off thanks for all advice and kind words xxx
