Any other pregnancy snorers around?

I'm 29w and have developed a rather unsavory and deafening snore. It's so loud I can hear it in my sleep and poor OH has relocated to the spare room as ear plugs have failed. I keep having dreams which feature loud noise-eg last night I was dreaming about revving a motorbike! OH has recorded me-its really something. Strangely the cat is totally unfazed and continues to sleep on my head but please tell me it goes away afterwards! Just want to know I'm not the only one?

Me too!!! Although mine is more of a big snort which I usually do several times just before drifting off to sleep (and I wake myself up again!!). My husband finds it hilarious where as I am mortified!! Blush. It must be something to do with pregnancy as I am usually the most silent sleeper ever!!! I'm 36+5 and hoping my 'snort' goes with ds3 arrives Wink x

  • when ds3 arrives! Blush

Phew it's not just me. Hoho. Did you have it before with other DCs? I'm dreading having to stay overnight after the birth and being the scurge of the ward as its so loud!!!

I don't have a snore (that I know of) but I make a whimper sound normally if I end up laying on my back I hear myself doing it before I fully wake up I think it's when I'm getting squashed or un comfy

EmmaOt · 17/01/2015 15:20

Me too, it's horrendous, I wake myself up with the noise continually!

LuckyAugust · 17/01/2015 15:58

Oh no, I never thought of snorting whilst I was in hospital!!! Having a section so definitely have a 2 night stay. Oh dear, feel sorry for whoever is in the same ward as me!! Grin Never had anything like this before.

ChickenMe · 17/01/2015 15:59

Lol your replies are funny. We will not be popular at the hospital! I've a good chance of an ELCS too so I'll prob get slung out for noise pollution.

I'm 39+4 and have developed the loudest most embarrassing snore - probably started about 6-8 weeks ago. My partner also recorded it and I was mortified! Midwife said it's to do with hormones and relaxing muscles and should go after pregnancy!

TheScenicRoute · 17/01/2015 17:28

Yep, I get a regular run down of the latest recording from the night before! It is mortifying!
