You would think I would know all of this by now but why haven't I felt my baby kick yet? I felt flutters at Xmas time and heard heartbeat 2 days ago so I know baby is well I just thought I would of felt more by now!! I'm a pre pregnancy size 6/8 and literally until this last week had no bump whatsoever and now look distinctively pregnant, id say personally looking more than 18 weeks!!! Ive attached a pic as I dont understand where bump has come from all of a sudden and how I can't be feeling little

Could be placenta is at the front?

I'm 18 + 2, not feeling anything either and getting impatient!

Can't say I was a size 6-8 before pregnancy though (try adding a 1 onto that) so that could be it. I know with the other two it was only a bit before the 20wk scan too. Just would love to get that daily reassurance something's in there! Such a magical feeling,

I was about 20 weeks with my 3rd before I felt anything despite it being probably around 16 weeks with the first two. Think I just have a less active baby this time, possibly baby was a bit smaller at that point than with the other two (I've had to have growth scans this time around, though at 35 weeks now they are happy it's caught up enough) and also have placenta at front. I can certainly feel it now! Sure there could be lots of reasons that are no cause for concern at all, every pregnancy is different and all that.

I felt my baby kick at 18w5d but she is a very quiet baby and doesn't move too much! As long as things are going good he/she will kick when they are ready! Smile

been feeling quite a few movements tonight. The more ive actually sat calmly and not stressed the more I have felt.... saw a friend today who is due the same time as me and she is about the same size as me so also reassured there too... we sure do stress a little as Mums but it has to be normal when we rely on those baby movements inbetween midwife appointments to let us know everything is ok...
FloweryBoots I had growth scans with my 2nd and have to have the same again this time for precaution. My little girl (2nd child) was born at gestation and 5lb in weight but did very well from birth, shes still small now but makes up for it in personality and character haha...
