Just got back from rescan as baby was in awkward position at 21 week scan. The head circumference was below the 10th centile, the chord insertion could not be seen and heart views were not the best. The scan was 'technically difficult' due to low amniotic fluid levels. We've been referred to Fetal medicine clinic due to the small head size and low fluid levels. After an early miscarriage this year i was just starting to relax and actually believe everything would be ok. Anybody come across this before?x

Not the same issues - a high risk of chromosomal problems at 13 weeks ( not have an Amnio) and at 20 weeks a small baby (10 centile), 2 issues in brain, head size issue seen. We have to wait 8 weeks for next scan.

Hope your next scan, with a consultant and hopefully better technology is reassuring for you.

That sounds really tough. Have you asked on the 'Antenatal Tests' section as well as here? I reckon you might get some better answers there from MNers who have been through similar. Good luck x
