I already have a child, and this is a much wanted baby, yet I'm terrified, emotional. DD will be three next year so not a small gap. Please remind me these feelings are normal Confused

Absolutely normal(I have 5dcs). I panicked after every bfp.

When your LO arrives you won't be able to imagine life without them in it.

CongratulationsThanks & be kind to yourself

Thanks Angelto Flowers it's reassuring to know you felt the same and done it five times.. (Pregnancy I mean..)

I feel so bad and guilty for feeling this way. I do blame the hormones etc but I think I (conveniently) forgot their impact.

Is it also normal to think you won't have enough room to love another one? Sorry, v sentimental but I can't imagine loving anyone like Dd. Blush

Absolutely completely normal. Congratulations x

Absolutely-you worry you won't be able to split yourself but give it time-you'll get into a routine & don't be afraid to use all the support you can.

They all have their own personalities & need you in different ways & at different times.

You will be great & you have more love than you know was possible Smile

Congratulations to you too! Good luck with your pregnancy, just think of how excited your dd will be when she hears she's going to be a big sister!

I have a 6 year old, tried for 2years with our daughter, I had days when I thought I couldn't love another like my son, but my love doubled, I honestly love them both the same. I love the amazing big brother he has become and how she idolises him. She lights up when he comes home from school. I love them both so much I could burst.
She is nearly 8 months now and I am 23weeks pregnant.
It's amazing, give your head chance to get around it. Enjoy every moment. Congratulations x
