Hi, 12 weeks today and just wondered if any one would like to have a guess if girl or boy. All just for fun.ð???

What is a nub? How does it indicate gender?

The nub is the genital bump in early development ... and gender can be determined by the angle of the dangle ... Google nub theory :)

Anybody else? Let's mix things up abit and get a few boy guesses. Feeling sick already at the thought of 4 teenage girls!!

Id say girl, but im not sure it is a nub and if it is I may add I had my scan at bang on 12wks and nub was flat but I read it can still rise at that point, and its more accurate at 13wk. Sure enough my flat nub is my 4th boy :)

Mumof3- I said I wasn't finding out but dh really wants to! I like this nub thing as it's not really finding out iykwim?
Sonography r had a brill shot of the nub on another picture, but printed this instead. I was just so relieved that baby was ok etc that I forgot to ask for the other pic aswell!

General rule for the nub :

Inline with Spine ... team pink
Angle to the Dangle ... team blue

It definitely shows better after 13 weeks though I had great pic of my twelve week and was right ... tho our 8 yr old witching told us we were having a baby and it will be a girl 3 WEEKS BEFORE our bfp lol ... gender scan at 16 weeks confirmed, and a double checked at 24 wk 4d scan :)

Four we wasnt finding out too but I was driving myself insane with tryingto guess lol and then a sexing scan cropped up on groupon that was local to me for 23 pound lol...of course it called my name didnt it. Haha. See you was also born in 1990, great birth year :)

I was going for boy actually because of the skull shape (I'm always wrong though!).

I tried looking for the nub which I think i know we're it is! For yours Stqueen I would guess girl but can't see a nub.
