I'm 38 weeks. A week ago head was down but not engaged yet. Most of today I've been getting pains really low in pelvis, like feels tooo low down, almost round my vagina? Ok, not exactly painful but definite twinges, so I keep walking bend forwards. Can this be head engaging or cervix doing something?
I've had loads of Braxton hicks for weeks, again, not exactly painful but strong and noticeable and makes me stop and grab my belly!
Looking for a sign of something happening as keen to meet my baby :)

Sounds like pressure is being added in all the right places :) however a baby can take right up until labour to engage properly and can be headbutting your cervix meantime ... If you notice your bump drop lower then I would say baby has properly engaged :) and this can happen weeks or hours before birth!
