14 weeks and possible UTI

14 weeks with DC1 and think I might have a UTI.

How urgently do I need to get it seen to? Can I wait till Monday and get pee dipped (i will be seen first thing so less than 48hrs) or do I need to go to drop in clinic today?

I'm having occasional sharp pain in abdomen and my urethra feels, I suppose sore is the best way to put it, after Ive peed. Think I'm peeing more frequently too.

Dr Google is giving conflicting advice so thought I'd ask you wise women!

I had a UTI at 34 weeks. I drank loads of cranberry juice the days running up to my doctors appointment. When I had my doctors appointment she tested my urine and said she was surprised I knew I had it because it was so mild. So my advice is to nip to a shop and stock up on cranberry juice :)

Our drop in clinic is combined with a minor injuries unit and I really don't fancy sitting in their for ages with lots of injured rugby players (usually my DH! )
Thankfully my mum works at my GP practice so I'll get my pee dipped on Monday and see what that shows.

drink loads of water and try to flush it through and then get an appointment Monday, have had a few times where I have felt like that and increased mu water intake which has made me feel much better. Your kidneys work harder and faster when pregnant
