baby is moving like crazy at the moment and I can feel it moving across my cervix. It's quite painful when he does this...is it normal?!

Not as low but my baby (32) was doing somersaults yesterday!

MrsCK · 01/01/2015 14:37

It's such a strange feeling!!! I've been resting loads which is why I think he's been moving lots.....but he's also breech so I was surprised at the fanny daggers!

I had to stop on the way to and from school with dcs several times and got some concerned looks

MrsCK · 01/01/2015 14:44

Ugh yeah I remember that with my two, horrible.

Best of luck for the upcoming arrival Flowers

Ohbollocksandballs · 01/01/2015 14:55

I started around the same time with them and DS was 12 days late. Nothing to worry about.

Ohbollocksandballs · 01/01/2015 14:56

But I agree they're bloody painful!

And embarrassing when you're stood in a queue and involuntary shout 'ooooh' and people think you're in labour Grin

HoggleHoggle · 01/01/2015 14:59

mrsck I had this too, and also had to check with MW that he wasn't going to fall out Blush. I think I made it sound like a joke but it kinda wasn't...

Fanny daggers is the perfect way to describe it. Will remember that for next time!

MrsCK · 01/01/2015 15:10

I'm so relieved it's normal!!! I said to DH I thought baby might fall out....He just gave me a look!!!!

I'm also very relieved it's not a sign of imminent labour. so not ready for him to come today!

bum shocks aren't quite fanny daggers but they are a bit more than cervix strokes!
