My friend lost her baby early in the second trimester, a few weeks after announcing the pregnancy. She does not want to have to explain the situation repeatedly as she is unerstandably upset, and it would be impossible to tell her large network of friends, colleuges and relatives in person at once. Is it a bad idea to make a tasteful statement on her facebook page? she has already told those closest to her, but it might be a good way of letting everyone else know.
