Uterus tilted back

I am going to soon be 19 weeks pregnant and haven't felt anything yet. I was told I have a backwards tilting uterus that will flip forward at about 20 weeks and am wondering if this is connected to not feeling anything and only having a very small bump so far?
Does anyone else have experience of this? Thank you :-)

If it's your first it's normal not to have felt movement at this stage, tilted uterus or not! I have a tilted uterus too but didn't find out til my third pregnancy. Don't think it makes much of a difference except it takes a few extra seconds to pee according to one midwife!

I have a tilted uterus too and am 19 weeks exactly! I was beginning to get a little worried last week as everyone was talking about feeling movement really early. I have just started feeling prods and pokes since boxing day.....JUST when I was starting to get worried. It will happen and everyone is different :) try not to compare yourself to anyone else's pregnancy, we all have different bodies

I have a tilted uterus and didn't feel anything with my first until just after the 20 week scan.

Your uterus corrects it's position by 12 weeks (I have one too) and doesn't affect feeling movement. Do you know the position of your placenta? If it's anterior it can act as a impact cushion and you will feel far less than with a posterior placenta. I'm 23+4 with #6 and have days where I feel very little to no movement ... first timers can have to wait til 22-24 weeks for those first flutters to be felt so try not to worry ... and speak to your midwife rather than sit and stress ... Each pregnancy is different :)

Apparently I have a tilted uterus...I was told when having an internal pre-dc.

It's never affected me at all, as far as I'm aware, and I've had 3 DC.

Tilted uterus does not affect feeling movement as it corrects its position by 12 week mark. I have one too. But if it is your first pregnancy its totally normal not to have felt anything yet.im sure it wont be too long now :)

Thank you so much for your comments, I wasn't sure whether it being tilted back would affect anything or not. The midwife seemed certain at 20weeks it would ping forward and a bump would pop out and I do have faith in her as she's in her 60's and must have seen every kind of pregnancy many times! Just can't wait to feel him/her! No idea about placenta yet but we have 20 week scan on 13/1 so looking forward to that! :-) Lots of ladies do say they feel nothing very noticeable until after 20weeks, esp for first timers
