Single parent to be due July 2015.. looking for support and a chat!

hello, is anyone else out there a first time parent and alone? obviously there are probably lots of you... but when i tried to join another thread for due date July 2015 it said it was closed! :o(
I'm currently searching the Internet for support/social groups but so far have only come across Gingerbread... does anyone know of anything else or more specifically live in Essex and know of anything there!? HOpe to hear from you soon, Regards.

The July chat thread is already long and active: you perhaps got a 'not accepting more messages' because that thread was full. (The level of busyness is why there is a whole topic for PG chat threads, by date or sometimes by theme - this topic would be swamped otherwise).

Hi OP - I am. I am due August 2015. Have one DS who is 14, well almost 15 so big age gap! Is this your first? I am in Lancaster so not close by I'm afraid!

I'm not a single mum but I'm from essex and first baby is due in March! Probably can't really offer any baby advice as I'm completely clueless but am here for a chat! Xx
