I'm really really worried that I've been exposed to toxoplasmosis. I've been tested before in prev pregnancy and not been exposed before. Yesterday I ate three meatballs which were quite pink in the middle, the last one has obviously uncooked bits of beef mince in them (which I left) but ate the bits pink bits before that. They were well done on the outside but pinky bits inside. I now can't sleep and have diarrhoea and nausea, badly. Have had bad tum for the past few days and I know anxiety will Be fuelling this too. I'm away from Home for two weeks and I know it Can take three weeks to show up in a test. I'm petrified now. I only Had my 20 week scan yesterday. I'm seeing the midwife on 13th jan but don't think I can wait that long- help!! Also worried about numerous other adverse effects (on baby) from this. Freaking out!!

Symptoms ate apparently flu like. (See nhs pages)
So what you have would be more like food poisoning.
Though of course there could be a risk from the undercooked meat

any concerns, call 111 and explain the situation. The local midwife team will be able to monitor you and put your mind at rest/give you something for the nausea.
