Reassurance needed after 20wk scan

Just been for my 2nd anomaly scan as first scan baby was in awkward position. They have said there is a subtle discrepancy between ventricle sizes with his heart. Right ventricle appears smaller than left.

So I'm due to be scanned by the specialist consultant on the 5th Jan to have another look.

I'm worried, and want to hear if anyone else has had a similar situation? What happened?

The doctor did say that is routine but I can't help but feel upset

Sorry you've had no replies, over Christmas it does get quiet outside of chat or aibu and it is easy for stuff to fall down the board unread.
Sorry you are feeling stressed. Not that i can guarantee but I'd venture to say that if it were a major cause for concern then you would be seen sooner. From your post there is something that may need an eye keeping on it and a bit more investigation. The next scan will tell you more. i know it is so hard to wait whiten all you want is to know everything is ok.

There will be people who have been in the same position as you but outcomes can vary so so much.

You've been referred to a consultant so all you can do is hope for the best. Don't google! There is nothing you can do. Hope everything is ok.
