2nd baby

Anyone had a 2nd baby 3/5 engaged at 35 weeks and when did they come? Hoping that DD will not arrive on DSs birthday in 2 weeks time

Dd was bang on time. My first was 8 days late.

I vaguely remember that she wasn't that engaged just before she was born. It happened quickly!

My boys both had the same due date 24th December, they were born 1 day apart, on different years. Its no bad thing, they can share celebrations or keep them on each day. Also reduces sibling rivalry having birthdays together. :)

My 2nd was 3/5 engaged last Thursday at 39+5 and still not here . Doesn't really answer your question but I am really running out of things to do to pass the time!!!

I read online that 2nd and subsequent babies can engage then pop out of the pelvis again so it might not mean labour is on it's way.

Hi OP I was wondering the same thing as my bump has dropped down at 33 wks but ive been having lots of "twinges".I am not sure how far until I see the midwife next week .
This is my 3rd my 1st engaged a couple of wks before 2nd during labour (had extra fluid) . So who knows ?

I was 3/5 engaged with DD (DC2), at about 33 weeks but she was born at 40+4

my second was 3/5 from 28 weeks. came 8 days late.

So not much hope of her coming early then
