Register at hospital separately from consultant?

New to London, 16 weeks, and made an appointment with a consultant who uses the Lindo unit at Portand Hospital. Do I need to book myself into the hospital for the birth separately, or does the consultant do that?

The Lindo is at St Mary's I think
