My very dear friend has just found out she's pregnant (hurray!) but she also has M.E.... can anyone give any advice/links/etc for me to pass on to her? She seems to be fine at the mo but is a little worried!

A colleague of mine got pregnant with ME and she actually felt much better during her pregnancy than she did previously. She hadn't been at work for three months prior to getting pregnant and returned when she was three months pregnant as she felt so well. I am not sure how she has coped since as I didn't keep in touch once she left work.

I was much healthier during my pregnancy than before (I had had ME for 2.5 yrs) But I was already much better then at first (ie I was getting better when I got pregnant).
And after I had dd - I didn't get any worse - obviously I had to take it easy as I was breastfeeding and getting up at night.
Good luck to your friend - any questions just ask

PS Reflexology is really helping me at the moment!!
