40 plus 5 days sweep done do they work?

IM 40 weeks plus 5 days third baby.
never been over due before! Its killing me. I have had four sweeps now! This being my forth today! I have had some blood and cramping but nothing yet. She said i was 2cm dilated 2/5ths and cervix soft but cervix post. How can i make this baby come! Story's please !

Just some sympathy for you here - my third baby was 12 days over her due date, I couldn't believe it!! I had a sweep at 41 wks and went into labour about 20 hours later.

You already know there's nothing you can do to hurry things up there are a hundred old wives tales, maybe some work maybe they don't, baby will come when it's ready but it will definitely arrive, you won't be pregnant forever - even though it feels like it at the moment!!!
