Hi everyone! I am pregnant for the first time and choosing between the Portland and St marys Lindo any advise?
i am really anzious about making the right decision!!!!!!!!
also has anyone heard of lorin lakashay?? thanks

have you thought of having a home birth, or is there a local birthing unit - midwifery led, could be another alternative for you x

The Portland is horrible as far as I know... but that depends WHAT you value most... and for you it might be right .
I think St John and Lizzie is a bit more about not OVER managing you...
Portland has no Special Care... so if something needs to be done to baby he/she may be transfered !
You could aslo look at the Birth Centre from Caroline Flint... very goood care.
