Started with Flu like symptoms Monday night and woke up with full blown Flu this morning , tried to get a GP appointment but their were none left by the time I got through .
I'm struggling to breathe it feels as though my throat is closed off & my stomach keeps tightening when I'm struggling with breathing .

Not sure wether to go to the local walk in centre as my lovely 'DM' says I'm just been stupid & I shouldn't waste a doctor's time as she had flu last week and didn't bother anybody

I have anxieties relating to Doctors as it is .

I'd phone your midwife to discuss. Flu when pregnant is different to just having flu.

Call 111. If it really is flu (as opposed to a really bloody awful cold), being pregnant means you are at high risk of complications. Drink lots of fluids and take paracetamol in the mean time. Have you taken your temperature.

Struggling to breathe sounds more like a chest infection. In which case definitely get to the doctor.

Can't get hold of my Midwife .

Paracetamol isn't even touching the pain (have spd as well)

Going to have a bath and try and calm down then I'll ring 111 & see what they say Flowers

Bath is a good idea. I assume your mil is not a qualified doctor, you should just pop in and ask if they think you might have a chest infection, advice on what you can take, etc. try to relax, rest, drink lots of warm drinks (that does not include mulled wine!) try to raise your head with a few pillows to sleep.

I wish it was my MIL bit it's my Dm that reckons I'm been stupid Hmm

Feeling a bit better after my bath so gonna have a bit of sleep since I didn't get any last night .
also waiting on my GP calling me back
