I'm just packing my hospital bag and have most things sorted but I don't know what to pack to leave hospital. I thought I should pack over the bump leggings incase I needed an emergency c section, but should I be packing a maternity dress or a baggy loose one in my old size? I haven't really put on too much wieght but don't know if I'm being abit optimistic packing non maternity! Thanks in advance!

I'd agree with all of the above advice! I'm going to have DC3 in a few weeks and have always come home in joggers, maternity t-shirt and hoodie/jumper. In the summer I had flip flops and in the winter ugg boots. Comfort is def the key, and dark bottoms in case of leakage!
Good luck!

Big pants, m&s granny knicker/Bridget Jones type ones if you want to be prepared in case of emcs, I couldn't bare any other type of pants after mine they all irritated the scar for weeks.

Big knickers, maternity leggings, long tee/baggy jumper kind of thing. Basically maternity/nursing wear. I also threw on some ugg boots, so anything comfy will do Smile

Evening!
I have just packed tonight, due jan 8th. I've gone for black maternity leggings, striped vest top (easy access for feeding), longline black cardi. Big mama knickers, and my uggs. Scarf etc.
Also read on here useful tip of leaving a second pile of your choice of clothing just in case you do stay in longer, so whoever picks it up brings what you want. Good luck!

I remember my cousin forgot to pack going home clothes and asked her DH to bring her in something. He brought white trousers (not maternity) and a vest Xmas Shock Definitely plump for comfort over style and shoes/boots that are roomy in case of swelling

When are you due? Don't forget the weather! Nothing worse than a wet foot apart from a hot foot in a too tight shoe!!
I'm not due till the spring but I like to read what others are doing. I got some dark coloured hareem style cuffed bottoms in large sizes from Asda. So no horrid long bell bottom bits to drag in puddles or trip over because they are cuffed. They have some good bottoms and cheap. Sainsburys too. Even some of the trendier pyjama bottoms can get away with being trousers now. I actually want to look half decent-not for anyone else, just for me.

It is a sensible a sensible Q op. Against all advice to the contrary, my sister packed her Diesel skinnies and had to go home in a towel.
