can any of you shed some light on your Pelvic Floor exercise work outs... I'm trying a few squeezes here and there but don't seem to be getting anywhere in terms of being able to stop myslef from peeing when sneezing.. yes I've invested in Tena Lady... but hopefully not for the rest of my life.

I used to do aerobics 3 times a week and over time I found the 'bum squeezes' got rid of my stress incontinence completely!

Try putting Michael Jackson's 'Can You Feel It' on - raise your hips a small amount from the floor and squeeze in time to the music - interspersing with bringing in your knees together and holding them still (whilst still squeezing) and taking knees in an out. It's a long record - do it 3 times a week, you should see a difference.

(Stop laughing you lot )

Get your fanjo pierced and lift weights with it.

There's a future career there too.

Thanks WhooWhoo! LOL, need to be firing out those ping pong balls too.

GhoulsToo, i'll give that a go, just hope I can get back up again after getting on the floor and dirty with it!

am afraid i believe nature intended ones pelvic floor to slacken in pregnancy. save the excercises for after!

TheBlonde · 11/10/2006 18:10

oh no you need to exercise during as well

ask your GP for a referral to a physio

Monkeychopsmummy · 11/10/2006 18:36

I've seen fanjo weights on sale in Boots - I don't think you need to get it pierced to use them
