Does when you were born (ie early or late) affect when your baby is born?

Hi ladies. Both my DH and I were born a couple of weeks early. Do you think this will have any bearing on when our little one makes an appearance, or is there absolutely no correlation?

I was premature (27 weeks) and gave birth to my first child on their due date, so no correlation here.

I don't think so. Although DS4 and DS5 were both prem due to a genetic condition so their DC have a slightly higher risk of being early too.

I was 5 weeks early, my son was 15 days late. So not for me.

And I was induced. He's probably still be there if we hadn't intervened Wink

I was 6 weeks early. So I left at this point to start my maternity leave, just in case.

Both my DDs were 4 weeks early.

I was born on my due date and so was my DD.
