help!! not sure what to do???

Hi, so this is going to sound strange! I was sat on the sofa with my dog when I felt a warm water sensation around me. I got up and the seat of the sofa was wet along with the back of my pj bottoms, More around me than the dog. Now I'm not sure if it was me and it was my waters or if the dog decided to do a wee!! Bub is still moving around ok... I'm 33 weeks pregnant. HELP ??

Ring your midwife and go in to be checked. Please do not waste any time. Better to be checked over and they discover it is dog wee after all. Although I am sure you would smell pee.

Does it smell like dog wee? Do you have any sanitary towels you can put in to see if you get any leakage? It may be worth giving your maternity ward a call xx

you should really go to the midwife to get checked out, does your local hopsital have a maternity triage department you can go to? hope everything is okay!

You should beable to smell dog wee, if it doesnt smell like it, do get checked out. It might turn out to be nothing, but its better to be safe as you are pre term still. Good luck, hope all is ok x

Just spent the morning in the hospital being checked... All ok feeling a bit silly now lol!

Glad all was okay! never feel silly, midwives would rather see 100 people who are fine rather than miss the 1 person who actually needs help that didn't go in incase they felt silly

Hi, I went to the hospital in the end. They checked to see if I was leaking fluid but they couldn't find any, and my cervix is closed still. The doc had a feel of my tummy and said it felt like there was still fluid in there and bubs heart rate was fine! I feel a bit silly now but I'm more sure it was my waters as it didn't smell of urine it was more a sweet smell? Can they rupture a bit and then heal up? I have to go back to the hospital if it happens again!
