Unexpected bleed...

I've been on Microgynon/Levest for 6 years now. I take it every night and have only ever missed 2.
I've just gone to the loo and there is (TMi, sorry) brown blood. I noticed a tiny bit at 1pm buy there was about 5cm of it by 4pm. It's like the blood you get at the start of your period. I am mid cycle and my period tracker says that ovulated yesterday.
I have had sex with my partner 3 times since the end of my last period (26th Nov).
I have a stressful job who are messing me about pay wise (talking a couple of thousand) so I don't know if it's stress?
Could I be pregnant? I am so worried because I'm the main earner and can't have a baby just yet. I'm so regular taking my pill. Hope someone can offer some advice and I hope I have posted in the correct section xxx

I think you would have been better posting this in Health. Have you taken a pregnancy test to rule it out?

Stevie if you are on Microgynon/Levest, then regardless of what your period tracker says, you wouldn't have ovulated, because that is what the pill stops happening. Remember your "period" on the pill is only a withdrawal bleed. Random breakthrough bleeding mid-cycle (particularly brown blood) is more likely to be down to stress, I would think.
There is a possibility that you have had a pill failure somehow (and you can only take a pg test to find out) but it seems unlikely.

I had a huge bleed once when I was on the pill. The GP told me I should drink more water and sent me on my way! Mention it to the GP though incase for you it's something serious!

I too had mid cycle bleeding every month on microgynon & if I'm honest, took months to leave my system when ttc

tea that's not true as I'm 11+5 and was on microgynon so I obviously ovulated

Sorry we can't tell you if you are or not will have to take a test id see your gp though just in case
