Cramps and back ache can mean pregnant and not pregnant.
How overdue is your period?
You don't say whether you're doing different branded tests - some are more sensitive than others, enough to make a difference in early days.
I would seek out one of the more sensitive tests - it was superdrug when I did mine, then use first morning urine when the pregnancy hormone will be at it's most concentrated. Don't buy a fancy digital, they tend to have a higher threshold.
Good luck.

My 1st test was like this is try again in a few days maybe even a week if your period doesn't arrive

i would re test. are you late? i did a test when i was 3/4 days late and the positive line was very clear on three different tests xx
