M/C 7 weeks ago and just got a bfp. how on earth????

I had a miscarriage 7 weeks ago at 8 weeks.
Have not had a/f since and have not been "trying". But have had the symptoms of sore boobs, sickness, wanting to murder dh for two days now and just did test and got positive.
am so shoclked. ~How can 'i be pregnqnt so soon and more importantly, how pregnant am i????

You might still have high Hcg levels from the mc, or you might not have had a complete mc - I suggest you see your GP. It took my BF 3 months for her levels to go down after her mc because of that.

same happend to me i had mc aug 3rd then when i had no period in sep i got worried done a test and got a bfp i'm so happy i was worried for a while incase it happend again but all looks good i'm nearly 10weeks when was your last bleed and i'll work it out for you congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has happened to my friend,
She only found out she has missed when she got an infection (missed mc) and within weeks she was pregnant again.
Shes due in a couple of weeks

I found myself pregnant with DD straight after a miscarriage having had no period, it is very possible!

Apparently it's classed as a "pregnancy" and like a pregnancy thats goes full term you are still very fertile...This is what we were told on both of our mc's..Sadly it still took us 6-9 months to conceive..

It's reasonably common to get pregnant again quickly after a m/c (reasonably common not to, as well, of course).

It is possible (unless you had your hCG levels monitored down to zero or got a negative result between your m/c and now) that you're not actually pregnant but that your hormone levels are just taking a while to drop after your last pregnancy.

But the most likely thing is that you are pregnant. Congratulations!

How pregnant you are -- you'll need to see the GP who may recommend an early dating scan. But as a very rough guide and from my own experience, when I m/c I ovulated about a week later that cycle (counting the day of m/c as CD1) than I normally would. So at a guess you are probably around 5-6 weeks pregnant (i.e. conceived around 3-4 weeks ago).

I got pg 4 weeks after my mc - am now 29 weeks.

With my firs mc I got pg really quickly after again...mc at around 8 weeks in July and was pregnant again in the september I can't remember if I had a period inbetween tbh...this was like 11 years ago...!

with my mc bacin in dec (5th) i tested positive on the 3rd Jan, that ended in mc on 25th Jan, pg again right away ans tested postive end of feb, sadly mc again had D&C 31 March, 8 weeks later i was pg again! Now 21 weeks so dont give up hope!
