Could it be twins?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone's had twins and what their progesterone & HCG levels were at around 5weeks. 15dpo mine were: HCG 630, progesterone 98. 19dpo HCG 5955, progesterone 128. Any thoughts?

If I remember, mine were about 2300 14dpo and then a little bit more than double that 16dpo. Never had a progesterone number. Scan at about 7 weeks confirmed twins.

From what I've read, it's pretty hard to draw any conclusion from the numbers alone, although if you've had more than one embryo implanted via ivf or have twins on your side of the family, that'll suggest chances are higher.

Thanks, yeah, I suppose I'll just wait and see. My gran is a twin, but this is a natural conception with only one follicle. Hate the waiting

I didn't know any of these levels but I had a early bfp at 9dpo and I had twins.

Your gran being a twin makes it more likely that you'll have twins. Is this something you're hoping for?
Will you wait til 12 week scan to find out?

I'm honestly not bothered, as long as it's a healthy pregnancy. I'm high risk anyway so they've booked me in for an early scan next week (6wks 2days) and will do bloods again if they can't see anything - fingers and toes crossed it's all okay.

Before you get a scan, sign up for twin insurance! If twins are confirmed you get a payout. (things I wish I knew 6 months ago...)

There are 3 sets of twins in my boyfriends family and 1 in mine. So there was always a chance lol I got symptoms really early on at around 4-5weeks but nothing really now at 9 weeks. At 7 weeks I needed an early scan due to a scare and it was confirmed I was expecting id twins! So exciting.

At 4+6 my levels were 8400 only one

Unfortunately no easy way to tell just a waiting game. Non I'd twins only run on the female side as that's down to how many eggs are released, id twins are just random.
