Is it safe to drink this wen pregnant? Only reason I ask is because the content is like 0.05% thank you

It's fine. If you're worried, you can get 0.0% beer too. Bavaria isn't bad

Yeah it's fine but it definitely tastes different (as you'd expect as it has slightly different ingredients!) I found it just gave me a headache as it was so sugary.

I second the tasting different thing...the pear one tasted exactly like pear drops and was indeed too sugary. They do some lovely non alcoholic beers, ginger beers and wines x

Yes that's fine - DH is going alcohol free for a year and he drinks Bavaria and Cobra which are both 0.0%.

Don't forget you can get Kopperberg in Ikea loads cheaper!!

My vote would go with Bavaria too

Erdinger beer is on sale at tesco & is 0% it's really quite nice!

My husband bought me some alcofree beer (not sure what brand) and it was disgusting! I don't normally drink bottled beer though. Made him finish it off so as not to waste it.

Oh and to add -I've tried buying "posh" fizzy drinks -Tesco lemon and mint and Bottlegreen's mango and coconut at the moment. Think I prefer Fanta and gingerbeer -so unsophisticated!

I second Erdinger. Its a wheat beer and although not quite the same as the alcoholic stuff. I used to go to a pub that served the alcohol free version on draft & have had quite a few dirty looks while standing in there heavily pregnant with a pint in my hand

I agree about erdinger being just about acceptable.

I strongly disagree with the pp who said that there are some "lovely" non-alcoholic beers and wines. They are, without exception, disappointing

It's fine, and I love it although I have a raging sweet tooth. Bavaria is very nice and so is Becks Blue. I tried alco free Cobra and it went straight down the sink.

The odd thing is though that you have to get ID checked for it

I've had some Natureo (from waitrose i think) which is dealchoholised and is 0.5%. Don't get excited - it's not like the real thing - incredibly incredibly sharp. But it's a more interesting flavour than grape juice, and a good alternative if you don't like sugary soft drinks. I had it watered down, which is how i often drink fruit juice anyway. i'm such a delicate flower

I disagree about non alcoholic beers being bad - Erdinger's ok. I've also had Budvar & Veltin in bars which gave been really nice & tbh I'm a bit fussy.

I'm not brave enough to try non alcoholic wine though!

Sorry - should have said the natureo is "wine" not beer.

I've never had a 0% beer on tap. Maybe it's better than the bottled stuff which I still contest is almost universally vile

There's also cobra 0% which is really good and asda do wines by "Fre" which are 0% but I'm not keen on that.
