My lovely friend is ten weeks pregnant with her first dc and I would like to ask if you have any suggestions for pregnancy related pressies I could give her as I am planning on making up a hamper for her. She is struggling for money so would like to include some special treats just for her as soon all her money and other peoples gifts will go on the baby. TIA

One of those gel, packs that you can heat up or put in the freezer for the aches and pains she will get.

Bio oil for stretch marks.
Big bar of chocolate!

That is a lovely gesture. Chocolates, mini toiletries would be a good start. Maybe a little book on pregnancy and some baby mags

I normally adore chocolate and I've gone off it completely :( I would include some crisps as well, mmm delicious salty carbs make everything better now.

maybe a bottle of the most interesting non-alcoholic drink you can find? I've been living on rose lemonade for 6 months.

I always gaze longingly at the mother and baby stuff in Neal's Yard. It looks lovely but I can't justify spending that much money on myself.

I second comfy PJs! In a nice roomy size for later on! Hand cream (mine are dry a lot), a nice lip balm eg Burts Bees beeswax one, maybe a dressing gown or slippers for after baby is born? Comfy stuff!

Youcan get cards for pregnancy and furst year that you can hold up for photos. Things like x monrhs pg, then ones that count baby's age.
