I took a pregnancy test the first day of my missed period and had a blood test done one day later (4wks 1 day) progesterone was 98 and HCG 630. Having repeat bloods Monday but isn't this high for so early on?? Any advice appreciated Smile

No it's not high it's in tbd normal range.

As soontobesix said, that's in the normal range. However it does vary massively from woman to woman. What they'll be checking for is that the HCG number is doubling every 48 hours as early in pregnancy this is the best indicator to show the oregnancy is developing properly, and in the correct location.
Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy.

Thanks both. Repeat bloods tomorrow so fingers crossed all will be as it should be.

Hcg varies widely at 4+6 weeks my hcg was 8400 with progesterone 27

I'm having a single baby and everything's fine

I had repeat bloods (4wks&5days) and progesterone was 128 and HCG 5955. They again said this was quite high. I've read that higher progesterone can indicate twins so slightly nervous, guess I'll have to just wait and see what the scan shows. Thanks for all the comments
