16 week gender scan

Being incredibly impatient, I've booked myself a private gender scan this weekend! I'm excited, but also worried that I won't be able to trust it! Has anyone else had one, and were then proved right at 20 weeks?

I went for one bang on 16 weeks - they told 80% a boy, but asked to come back the next week to confirm when baby was a bit bigger. She's a girl!! Sex was confirmed again at 20 week scan.

Her wee bits were still too swollen. If they cant tell for definate, they should get you back at a later date to confirm.

Go for it! If nothing else, its another opportunity to see baby.

Hello, I had one, as I was really stressed out and also wanted to check all was OK as well as finding out the gender (no patience here either!), and they were able to tell quite easily it was a wee boy - this was backed up by the 20 week scan too I was really glad I did it.

Hello. I had a gender scan at 16 weeks as was too impatient to wait. Was told I was having a boy which was confirmed at later NHS scan. Was a lovely opportunity to see my baby again.

I had a private one at 16 weeks, was told it was a girl. Nhs one at 20 weeks confirmed girl. Had another private scan at 33 weeks, and again was told we are having a girl. I'm now 36 weeks, so not long left til I find out for sure!

I had gender scans at 16 weeks and 15 weeks (dates were wrong) and they told me both times it was a girl... And I have 2 girls

I had mine 16+5 could clearly see his bits this was confirmed again at 20wks scan

I've got one on Sunday too OP! Will be 18+4 so hoping they'll be able to say for sure.

Had mine at 16 weeks and was told girl, had a quick assure scan today due to quiet bubba and she's still a girl :) will confirm at 20 wk on 8th dec

I had a gender scan at 18 weeks, which showed she was a girl, and this was confirmed a little later.. as far as I know she is still a girl lol!!

My friend was tols she was as having a girl at 16 then 20 and then her future scans after she gave birth on Wednesday and had a boy!!!x
