I'm scared I've left it too late

I haven't felt my baby move since yesterday morning. I usually feel her when I sit down and have a rest in the evening and last night nothing. Now this morning, nothing.

I'm really scared. I'm only 23 weeks, I'm going to call the hospital this morning but will have to go just me and my toddler.

I'm scared she has died. I'm scared that even if she hasn't, I'm not 24 weeks yet, so if something is wrong there is nothing they can do. Sorry, I'm mainly writing this because I don't want to completely freak my partner out by saying it all to him

I'm terrified of stillbirth too. Glad you went in and everything's ok though!! I went in yesterday morning because of reduced movements and felt a little bit silly but mostly relieved when we heard the heartbeat. The midwives were lovely and couldn't reiterate more how monitoring your baby's movements are a good thing!

I'm 27+5 and had very little movement from my little madam over 2 days this week..she's disco dancing in there now but it's always worrying! I've been in hospital a few times during this pregnancy and I always felt like I was being a neurotic first time mum...my midwife soon put me in my place by saying that there is no such thing! You can never be sure with pregnancy as you don't have a window into your belly to have a look, so no matter how stupid you feel just go and get checked out!! Glad all is ok for you now :)

For future reference I find a hot chocolate great for getting them moving. Think coz its full of sugar and liquid it's fast acting!

I wore too tight uncomfortable trousers to work one day, then been busy and realized I hadn't felt movements for 24 hours. I was convinced my tight waistband had squashed her!!
I think I just hadn't been paying attention to movements. Once I was wondering whether to go to hospital she started doing backflips.
